Problem Statement

After 8 years of running the AFRL-powered Accelerator — that historically focuses on business development and government customer discovery — we have designed a new program to meet companies at the investment stage so they can scale within the space & defense ecosystem.

This Boot Camp will NOT be focused on government customer discovery.

Participation Requirements:

  • Pre-Series A, no more than $5M in investment
  • Space-based or space-supporting technology
  • Ready for investment opportunities but have little to no investment traction
  • A strategic plan

Programming will include:

  • Investment readiness & strategy
  • Financial planning
  • Scaling strategies
  • Pitch curation
  • Art of the Possible: Founders Supporting Founders

Benefits for participating companies of the Fall 2026 Investment Readiness Boot Camp:

  • Lodging will be provided at the Catalyst Accelerator’s hotel of choice for 11 nights, for one room per company. All other travel costs are at the expense of your company.
  • Continental breakfast and lunch provided at Catalyst Campus

  • Public Happy Hour on Oct. 15
  • Company Showcase event on Oct. 22

Arkwright Space

At Arkwright Space, we build Physical AI for Space: intelligent robots that inspect, repair, and manufacture in orbit, so critical infrastructure keeps working at the point of need and high-value assets can maneuver without regret. Our first product, Horus, is a dual-use, free-flying orbital drone for proximity operations that docks with the assets it serves, diagnoses damage on its own with no ground link and returns to its host to be serviced and upgraded, with defense applications such as secure local micro data centers. We are a Purdue University spin-off flying our first payload in 2027 on the road to autonomous in-space servicing, assembly, and manufacturing of electronics. Our mission is to accelerate humanity's ability to build, operate, and thrive in space.

Continuum Resources is a WOSB/EDWOSB-certified defense technology company with 8+ years of experience delivering mission-critical AI, software, engineering, cybersecurity, and professional education across the national-security ecosystem. Continuum supports Space Systems Command through KBR on the MSEIT program, leads AI efforts within that mission, and serves as a prime contractor to the Missile Defense Agency on SHIELD. We turn firsthand experience solving complex defense missions into proprietary, deployable technologies, including STRATUM, an AI-powered decision-support platform designed to make Analysis of Alternatives and engineering trade studies faster, more rigorous, and auditable. Continuum is building a portfolio of secure AI and software products that transform how defense organizations analyze information, make decisions, and execute critical missions.

Little Place Labs

🌐Visit Website

Little Place Labs (“LPL”) is building software applications utilizing advanced machine learning techniques that can be deployed on remote sensing satellites optimized for the Space environment. This is also known as “Satellite Edge Computing” and will allow raw data to be processed immediately as it is captured, and insights to be developed in orbit. The outcome is quicker and more cost-effective delivery of critical insights to end-users for them to make data-driven decisions for applications like natural disaster detection, surveillance and monitoring, and other time-sensitive events.

Spectronn (Holmdel, New Jersey) has a software platform that concurrently and in real-time optimizes heterogeneous data networking and computing for resilient and low-latency situational awareness. It virtually combines all available networking and computing assets in space and on earth to deliver smart data (satellite, UAV, SAR, RADAR, CCTV, RF, and IoT sensors) collection, storage, sharing, and analytics. AVA, their human-centered AI engine combines deep machine learning, computer vision, and natural language processing to analyze the collected data for visual storytelling and Q&A. These integrated capabilities deliver clear, real-time intelligence to first responders, warfighters, and commercial stakeholders, without cognitively overloading them – everything they need and nothing they do not.
